The Vieux Carré – better known as the French Quarter – is the largest and best-preserved district of predominantly 19th century architecture found in an American city. It is a unique treasure that millions of people the world over flock to see, while they experience the city’s musical excitement and its world-class cuisine.
You can explore the Quarter on your own or you can experience it while learning about it from a knowledgeable tour guide. There is so much to see and do within the Quarter’s roughly 100 blocks you might not know where to begin unless you have someone with you who knows their way around. But, if you don’t, there are a number of tour options that will give you a good sampling of what the Quarter is all about. Check out the listings below for the French Quarter tour that best suits your needs.
